What’s this blog about, anyway?
This blog is experiencing an identity crisis…it’s time for a re-launch! But before it does, read the information on my personal website, teelynnlloyd.com.
I’m thinking about a big theme, a carefully-crafted, seamless online presence, mostly because I’m an over-achiever. Also because I make my living as a brand manager and the brand I need most to manage is my own. See, that’s what happens when you spend a day at a Word Press conference and see what all the other nerds are doing! Or when you spend a week at a Web 2.o Conference and give out your card to a bunch of people. Not to be outdone, I’ll organize my unique combination of humor, sarcasm, cuteness and plain-old smarts into some pretty cool stuff. The other MBAs will be proud, and the tech geeks too. Just you wait. At the very least I’ll be a legend in my own mind.
Why should you care? Because I’m amassing some cool followers on Twitter, and because I’ve been published in the New York Times. I’m even talking to the Funny Women editor at TheRumpus.net, so people are paying attention. So should you, so you can claim the pleasure of being an “early adopter”. If not, then be a “me too” and talk about me with your friends. On some social networking site, of course, so I still get the credit. Hey, a girl’s gotta ask for free publicity, right?
If this is your first visit, you probably won’t know the difference. That’s OK, but you should stay tuned anyway because I’m gonna ROCK!!!
Tracey: Your transparency is refreshing. I’m really proud of you!
